Kristal joined Fortune Manning’s litigation team in April 2008. She was admitted to the bar in July 2008, and graduated from the University of Auckland with a conjoint Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree in September 2008.

• Advising insurers on policy interpretation and indemnity on a variety of policies including contract works, motor vehicle and home owners/contents
• Advice on fraud and false statements
• Acting in subrogated recovery and defence claims

Commercial Litigation

• Advising clients on all areas of commercial litigation including employment, land law, consumer law, and accident compensation

Insolvency and Debt Recovery

• Debt recovery proceedings in the District and High Court
• Advice on personal and corporate insolvency
